Next issue: Leaking at the round doodad on the fuel rail opposite of the regulator (modulator?). Evidently this part that has never leaked before has decided to leak where it's crimped together now that it's back on the car (I was even careful with the fuel rail when it was off the car). Do I need to look for a specific part, or do I stand a chance raiding the local pick-a-part? Would it be safe to try to "re-crimp" this part? Anyone got a spare they wanna ship to WA (unless you're in western WA) that I can pay for on Thursday  ?

You may just need to pick up a new o-ring from the parts store.

I think a picture is in order - it's not leaking where it screws into the rail, but from the part itself at the factory crimp/seal :( . I'll get a pic tonight when I get home.

oh the crimped on vacuum line. There shouldn't be any gas in that. That means the diaphragm is ruptured and is leaking fuel where it shouldn’t be… I think the FPR is the same for a 1piece or a 2piece. FWD, TU, Dodge dealer, and your local parts store should have them. I’d guess 50-120 bucks for one new.

Think the other end of the fuel rail - not the FPR end. If I recall correctly it's a pulse dampener or modulator.

Damn... this car is so close to done I can almost feel the boost...

*wonders if I can re-seal it with some JB Weld*

I don't know if it's interchangeable - I hope so as it would increase my chances of finding one. Anyone? Is it interchangeable with other years/models?
