Ondonti would be the man to talk to on turboing the 3.0. I'm sure he will chime in here when he sees this.

I'd go with a good set of pistons. Best ones out there are Ross, venolia and Arias. I think Brent uses the second brand. Cheif used Ross for his buildup. And I've seen both sets. I'd go with any of those three. But I honestly think that the Ross' have beefier ring lands
Connecting rods: Either Crower or Pauter. Both are extremely strong (moreso than the stockers). But, if you are not going to push over 600hp, then I'd suggest just having the stock ones shot peened for strength.
Crank: Stock one is just fine. But for a bullet proof bottom end, I'd suggest a forged one from the latter years twin turbo brothers. Or a custom crank can be made. But those will break your wallet.

what about these pistons??? would these be good in my 12v 6g72?? 8.0-1 compression.. great for turbo'ing... beats havin to pay 620$ for ross racing pistons.. but who knows id love to get the ross pistons and ceramic coat them...maybe just get these pistons and ceramic coat them.. whats your thought?

They'll be okay for 15psi probably, but if you're going balls to the wall, I'd get forged. Those are stock cast type.
All the 6g72's have the same crank, only difference in the turbo's is it's nitrided.

alright well were can i get a good forged crank.. out of what car?? and my plan is to run about 10psi.. and then up to 20.. so if the stockers will only handle 15 approx. might as well foot the bill and get the ross racing ones

If anyone wants rods, I would never buy pauters. To heavy. We dont want to add any weight to help the crank want to die at a lower HP.
These are the only rods I would get...Will support whatever power you want and are lighter then stock. All other aftermarket rods are heavier then stock (pauters incredibly heavy) because they are not really made with the 6g72's "needs" in mind.

I really dont think anyone needs to upgrade rods or crank.
Pistons, well I think thats a definite.
BTW wink, ringlands...those are up to the person buying the pistons. You can basically order what you want. My ringlands are actually pretty beefy because my pistons are .096" over so I move the ringlands farther from the valve reliefs and edge of the dish. The weakness in 3.0 pistons is the intake valve relief. The ringlands will blow there before anything else happens.
Thats why I also think the older "real" 8.85:1 chrysler pistons (no mitsu stamp on the side) with a full skirt are better cause they have a lower top ringland stock :D
