Going to put the intercooler in the Rampage today before I go to work.

Stupid question...

Will putting an intercooler at an angle instead of straight up/ down make any benefit, or will it not have any ? Will it make it harder to keep the radiator cool at an angle?

Also, is anyone running a fan between their intercooler and radiator and one on the engine side of the radiator too to keep things extra cool?

Shouldn't make any difference.

i can see it making a slight difference, but its hard to judge, on one side you have more air going OVER the intercooler and hitting the rad, on the other hand when it is tilted the fins are now not inline with the incomming airflow and therefore may not flow as much through the IC. its a toughie :dontknow:

hmm...interesting discussion
have seen a bunch of rear mount , flat mount, and angle mount setups,
the commonality in all was the directed airflow was always at right angles
to the vertical centerline of the core.....
