i understand the gains from switching to the later intake manifold but i was wondering if anybody still has one on their cars, i do and i feel like i have enough power for now and i am not done with mods yet. i was just wanting to get other peoples ideas and things they have done with the log manifold. I have a ported exhaust, 46mm tb, ported intake/modified for intercooler, and afpr w/bigger injectors. i also have a k&n air filter but it is just the drop in that goes into the stock box.

I'm in the same boat as DodgeZ, I just picked up an 87 Shelby Z with a log intake, but I've never driven/raced a car with a log.

The only non-log car I have is the 88 Pacifica, the rest is all early stuff. I'd thought about converting the 86 to a blow-thru setup, but I think if I run across an MP setup I'll go with that instead.
Check R/T or Racin tracy on the SDAC cinny/ kentucky site he intercooled a log setup in a woody wag. and ran a probe intercooler. that might help you. AL

My friend & I ran intercooled log SC's for many years with good results. My best was a 13.04 @ 106mph & my friends was 12.95 @ 108mph. We were both using the Spearco side-mount IC's & he later switched to a stock T2 IC.
Our set-ups were;
803 inj's
44pph 5th injector system(Miller Woods Turbo Group Fueler)
ported log intake & exhaust manifolds
stock T1 turbo with a slightly larger comp wheel
2.5" exhaust
S60 cam
46mm TB
K&N filter
255lph fuel pump
Here's an old pic of his(Joey MacKay) engine;

Oh ya, with the 75hp shot of nitrous, he went 12.18 @ 117mph

Talk to Steve Mueller about a intake but it's a later model TI
I will GIVE you a exhaust manifold.
Also if you remember we talking about the Shelby Daytona I found in the yard,
the complete engine is there, wiring harness is there and so is the computer...
You could do a complete swap :-)

Doesn't Omnious or somebody have a silver Omni with a DC intercooled log setup?
