Down pipe and alternator bracket mock up. I had to cut a little out of the alternator bracket to get it to clear the intake. Down the road the alternator threw a belt because it was cocked. It turned out the bolt I was using had slop on one side but not the other because there is a button in the bracket that is smaller than the hole, so I had to drill it out and use a bigger bolt that fit snugly and the problem was then solved:
