Those Genesis' are pretty nice looking cars, and 375 hp stock too.

I'd rather be hated for who I am, rather than loved for who I am not.
Yeah they are here, or at least they've been running commercials for them here, for several months now. Supposed to be 375hp V8 and RWD, that vid is a 2-dr but they are available in 4-dr trim also. They price out around 40k for a V8.

Looks like the coupe just has a 306hp V6. Darn, only 300hp![]()
I'd rock that coupe, big improvement over a few years, the old tiburons were weaksauce in comparison, the "big" engine was what, 2.7L and 170 hp?

Shameless headbanger.
Hyundais are still garbage. My 2004 Tiburon is in a shed behind my parent's house with a blown engine, 77K miles, and a warranty that isn't worth the paper it's printed on.
How is it that YOU are the only one that has problems with them?!
I believe the sedan with the V6 is available now with the 8 later this year, but could be now. The Coupe, I also believe, is due like summertime? So, in reality, a '10.
I'd rock one of the coupes too!!![]()
whoah! Thought of you after I mentioned a Tiburon, how'd it blow at 77k miles!? And why won't they back up their supposed 100k warranty?

I really don't know and I don't think it's actually blown, but the dealer's flagged it so I'm having to pay somebody to look at it. They won't touch it. They said a hose clamp failed (swear to God) causing the engine to lose all it's coolant thus blowing the engine. It didn't. When I picked the car up the hose clamps were intact and there was coolant in the engine. Plus it never overheated. I just heard a low clanging and 15 seconds later it died.
the new two door will also come with the 2.0 world engine detuned to 200 hp which is what Rys is using, and it's supposed to be priced in the low 20s with the 2.0...finally a rwd turbo car! Now if the Americans would just follow suit.
Gun control is the polar opposite of limp wristed.
yes, but those are the only ones and they are more related to the miata than the old SVOs

The Genesis seems to be a half-decent car, now to see if it falls apart like other hyundais'. As far as domestic turbo cars, I quite like the solstice GXP. They handle really good, they sound ok, I tested one with the slushbox and it spooled up real quick but not near enough power. If they drop in price id buy one. The one I was looking at was over 40k, I wonder how low I could get one now?? mabee a good laying chicken and a few food stamps!
