Yeah, I think the trannies in the rally cars are straight cut, they don't use an H-pattern shifter, just forward and backward, like an auto ratchet shifter.

that driver knows what he's doing....but that crowd is still a bunch of idiots!
thats a cool video... I can't believe how tight some of those corners are... I'd volunteer to be his nav, but you wouldn't catch me standing on the corners. I might watch from the straightaways, but not crowded in like at the start. There were a couple hair pin corners that he cut short, and one I saw he went a little too far out on, but damn.. looks fun!
